More than 500 hematology/oncology specialists from around the world will gather at the fourth international meeting of the Houston Leukemia Conference on September 25-27, 2008 in Houston, Texas. Sponsored by The University of Texas M. D. Anderson Cancer Center, over 60 experts are scheduled to speak during Leukemia 2008.
Meet-the-Professor Sessions, Satellite Symposia, Poster Presentations and other interactive programs are dispersed throughout eight didactic sessions. Topics cover the latest advances in treating CLL, ALL, CML, AML, MDS, multiple myeloma, myeloproliferative disorders, rare leukemias, lymphomas, cancer-related infectious disease, among other cancer topics. It is anticipated that hundreds of abstracts will be accepted and presented at the meeting.

NOTE: The city of Houston has fared well following Hurricane Ike.
